Arrive in Venice and we will take you to the iconic Hotel Cipriani for your two night stay in the heart of this stunning city. Four minutes by private launch from San Marco, on the tip of Giudecca Island, this luxury hotel commands unrivalled views of the lagoon and Doge’s Palace. Then at the end of your stay, transfer to Venice’s ornate Santa Lucia Station, the Orient Express will be waiting for you. Wake up to find yourself meandering through another backdrop of beautiful scenery before indulging in a breakfast served in your cabin. Arriving into Paris Gare de l’Est, the train will stop for 40 minutes, giving you ample time to stretch your legs. Next, a delightful brunch will be served in the restaurants as you embark for the Channel crossing. Boarding the British Pullman for the final leg of the journey, afternoon tea will be served with a glass of English sparkling wine, ensuring you arrive in the British capital feeling suitably refreshed and relaxed in the early evening.

  • Transfer to Venice Santa Lucia station where you are invited by your porter to board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express for a late morning departure
  • After you have settled in, it will soon be time to enjoy a delightful three-course lunch in one of the gorgeous restaurant cars
  • Spend the afternoon relaxing in the comfort of your cabin gazing at the beautiful passing scenery
  • Afternoon tea is served in your cabin
  • In the evening a leisurely four-course dinner is served, prepared on board by our skilled French chefs
  • After dinner retire to your cabin which has now been transformed into a cosy bedroom
  • Breakfast is served in your cabin by your steward at a time to suit you
  • The train pulls into Paris Gare de l’Est and halts for 40 minutes, you can take this opportunity to stretch your legs along the platform

Cabins
Our Double Cabins feature upper and lower beds while Single Cabins have one lower berth. During the day, the beds are transformed to offer comfortable banquette seating from which to admire the views. Inside your cabin, draw back the oak panels to reveal a washbasin. Luxury, mosaic-tiled lavatories are available at each end of the carriage

Meals
Table meals are included whilst on board the train. Continental breakfast and afternoon tea are served in your cabin, while lunch and dinner are enjoyed in the sumptuous surroundings of the Restaurant Cars. An la carte menu is available for lunch and dinner, and there is a 24-hour cabin service for light snacks and refreshments. Both are at an additional cost and paid for at the time of ordering. The Cipriani stay includes a buffet breakfast
