By travelling between the two aboard the Simplon Orient Express you will be embarking on an inspirational journey that has captured hearts and minds for a century. Day 1
Arrive at Venice Santa Lucia Station to find the elegant Orient Express train waiting at the platform. Once the steward has helped you board, showing you to your reserved seat and taking bags to the cabin, a delicious three course lunch will be served in one of the painstakingly restored restaurant cars as the City of Canals fades away into the distance.
Next, enjoy time spent relaxing while gazing out on some of Italy’s most stunning scenery, including the Dolomite mountains and foothills, before enjoying an afternoon tea in the beautiful surrounds of your private cabin. Later, an international standard four course dinner will be served, prepared by expert French chefs, after which you can choose to retire for the evening or mingle with fellow guests in the Bar Car.
Day 2
Wake up to find yourself still on the move, passing through a breathtaking backdrop of jaw-dropping countryside. The steward will then arrive to deliver breakfast to your cabin, at a time of your choosing, allowing for a truly laidback introduction to the day.
Finally, watch the suburbs of Paris turn into the most romantic city in the world as you draw ever-closer to the ultimate destination Gare de l Est train station placing you in the heart of the French capital where your journey reaches its conclusion.
